Ways to Learn
Part-time, full-time, in-class and online. UBC Continuing Studies offers a wide variety of ways to learn that are designed to suit your busy schedule.
Our courses are taught by outstanding instructors who share their expertise and enthusiasm for their fields in the classroom and online.
In-class courses are delivered at the UBC Point Grey campus and in downtown Vancouver at UBC Robson Square. We also offer a growing number of courses and programs that are available 100% online or as blends of in-class and online instruction.
Select from over 1,200 course offerings each year, or explore specific areas in more detail by choosing from over 20 multi-course certificate programs. Most certificate programs are available for part-time study. However, some programs are provided in full-time formats for those who prefer more intensive study over a condensed time period.
A special series of intensive programs over one- to four-weeks are also available in June, July and August as part of our Summer Institute initiative.
