William Koty develops educational programs that help people discover the meaning of sustainability in their personal and professional lives. He believes that we, as a global society, have little conception of what it really means to live in ways that protect the planet's ecosystems while enabling individuals and cultures to prosper.
This is why education is critical to sustainability. Education, at its core, is about what's possible. William believes it is imperative for individuals in all walks of life, in all professions, to learn about the theory and techniques of sustainability so they can apply them to their communities and work environments.
William is a generalist who combines diverse interests and broad knowledge across numerous subject areas into innovative ideas and new educational programs.
William received his MA in International Policy Studies from the Monterey Institute of International Studies (1983) and a BA in World Business from San Francisco State University (1978).
