Diana McKenzie

Program Leader

Diana McKenzie actively pursues sustainability both personally and professionally, creating sustainability education programs that engage and motivate others to bring more sustainable activities into their own lives. As a Program Leader with UBC Continuing Studies, Diana created the Award of Achievement in Sustainability Management and has participated in the growth and strategic development of the UBC Continuing Studies Centre for Sustainability. Recently, through partnership of the Centre for Sustainability with the UBC Design Centre for Sustainability, she was invited to assist with the development and delivery of the Summer Institute in Sustainable Urban Design.

Diana graduated from UBC with a BA in Political Science (2006). As a Program Leader, she manages several full-time, part-time and online certificate programs in Multimedia, Project Management, and Business Analysis, along with Sustainability Management and online program development.

Diana has also volunteered internationally throughout Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands, focusing on environmental conservation. She remains involved in the local environmental community and seeks out opportunities for growth of sustainability programs in continuing education.
