Tuition Tax Receipts

Tuition, Education, and Textbook Amounts

Many courses and programs offered by UBC Continuing Studies qualify for non-refundable tax credits and education amounts. If a course meets certain educational criteria (as outlined below), a T2202A tax certificate should be available for download from your online account profile by late-February of the next calendar year. An email notification will be sent to eligible students in February. A T2202A (Tuition and Education Amounts Certificate) can be used as an offical statement for income tax purposes.

Below is an outline of eligible tuition fees and education amounts, please ensure you claim your eligible tuition fees, education amounts, and textbook amounts. For full details, refer to the Canada Revenue Agency website: www.cra.gc.ca.
